Sprint to the bathroom
Shut off the light
Look out the window
Realizing I missed the day
'Cause now it's night
What was I doing
Letting it slip by?
Now I have to go out,
Breath the air,
I won't miss the night
Look at that full moon
Wow, isn't it beautiful
Breathtaking
Better than anyting artificial
Better than starring at that light bulb
For hours today
Just what was I doing
My mind was wasting away in that place
That place inside
I need to start living my life
Listen to the leaves shuffle
In the breeze
Haven't listen to the branches scratch
the sky since I've been inside
It's amazing
This is life
The dark house sillouted
The moon shines into the bathroom
Can't turn off that light
Why would I want to?

I've been having serious writers block and this I think is a step back into sync.  A creative breakthrough for me.  Hope this keeps up.  What do you think of this one?
Thanks for reading
Joy

This is good, Joy. Writer's block, at least for me, seems to be an ever present thing with brief episodes of relief. I think I just have to accept that and write whenever those brief spells happen to come along and not worry about it when they don't! Much easier said than done!

I think I am begining to accept not being able to write when I want to.  But it sure is fustrating wouldn't you say? Sometimes I just wanna scream! AHHHH!

Now I look back on this and think, ah well, it's just not back yet.  That little something.

Maybe your trying to hard? maybe you set a standard in your mind, that's acceptable to you but other people don't judge you by.

Sometimes what seems almost absurd to you others think is absolutely amazing.
Just write what's in there, that's you now, that's enough.

This one by the way I like a lot but you've probably guessed that

Maybe.  You know Jon, I think you are right.  I have discovered that sometimes when I write something I think is great others may not always think so and when I write something I don't think is so great, others seem to really enjoy. Crazy world isn't it? LOL!

Hey, I really liked this poem!  Coming from the country into the city, do you know how scarce it is for me to actually see an abundance of stars?  When at night the sky is never black, but it glows an orangish hue thats just not right.  This got me remembering laying in my back yard staring up at so many stars it seemed the sky was black paper with a million tiny holes poked through!  Thank you for that!

This is great, glad your muse is returning, I have found lately I can only write if I am intensely in a mood which lately has been cuckoo, so to get rid of it I have to write it out. Other than those times I have nothing. I myself enjoy the sunlight and live for it's inspirational warmth in my life.
