There has to be a way to kill time. To really destroy it & watch it splatter, at our feet in shreds of a gory slime, hear it's retreating footsteps patter. The pain time provides,we could do without. There is SO much evil imperfection, that i would gladly forfeit for kinder clout, or some silken sliver of true affection. Life is a long,dark,rough, & tumble path, i've never had both feet on that one road., we're forced to smother in a rancid pool & take a drowning bath, always I’ve had one foot on death & one on life,weighed with a load. It’s a fact,my friend,death is easy A simple escape,a surrender perhaps, But the thought of living makes me queasy. I’m to stubborn to surrender to such an easy lapse. So,I’m living,I hate it,but I’ll stay, Just to conquer & destroy it, in a more natural way. You know I won’t ever quit…….. And there she weaves by night and day, a magic web of colours gay.~Tennyson |
