This day is dark, A question without answer, Why my friend Mark, Had to die from cancer. A vibriant young man, So strong, athletic, But then cancer began, So cruel and pathetic. His children are left, Without a dear Dad, A vicious theft, Makes us all sad. Mark, rest in peace, Thanks for being a friend, Your memory will not cease, 'Til we meet once again. |

Dennis, I am sorry for your loss, and for the family of your friend. Your poem as a tribute is a wonderful portrait of what a friend he was. |

I'm sorry for your loss as well, Dennis. We often don't know the 'why' of these things, they certainly don't seem to have a rhyme or reason. This is a lovely tribute to your friend. Denise |

Dennis, My heart goes out to you my brother & his caring friend, and for the loved ones he left behind. You poem is very touching- sad--but also high note sounded of a friendship ended prematurely due to seemingly merciless causes of cancer. God bless you in your heart ache and loss this day, David |
