I've been given a nod,
By the powers that be,
In a Writers Festival,
To share my poetry.

An oral presentation,
I will stand and deliver,
My poetic stylings,
May they flow as a river.

I'll be nervous, no doubt,
Amoung this talented crowd,
All displaying their work,
So eloquent and proud.

Though I'm a novice,
I'll share what I write,
Being part of this Festival,
Will be my delight!
