I heard your voice
Turned, laughter in my eyes
Smile falls again.
Forgot, we said goodbye

I see you in a crowd,
Call out your name,
You look in disgust
Your face shows disdain

The faithful night
That tore us apart
Haunts me always
Breaking my heart

Memories run rampant
Tearing up my soul
Ask me one question
Then you would know

Wish I could show
The mask that conceals
Pain that he caused
Wounds that can't heal

But you look away blind
Trusting your friend
Never knowing it was rape
That shows us the end.

I awake to a world I don't want. There is no transition for me. I am in heaven. I am in hell.

A very easy to read poem Nicole...well written.

Therapy sounds good...   Thankyou.

With a little piece of tomorrow,
You'll have to kiss yesterday goodbye.
Because today won't last forever,
And the past will only make you cry.
