I AM I am a person who listens to what the wind whispers and believes dreams come true. I wonder what would happen if all living things spoke the same language. I hear fairies talking and wood nymphs singing. I see all of the Roman Gods watching out for us. I want to have a ranch in the heart of the Black Hills. I am a person who listens to what the wind whispers and believes dreams come true. I pretend to have animals that talk back to me. I feel the pain the human race causes other species and our Earth. I touch Pegasus for support and comfort. I worry about my father being by himself and not knowing we care. I cry when I don't know if I'll ever see my close friends after this year. I am a person who listens to what the wind whispers and believes dreams come true. I understand things are changing, there'll always be a time for goodbyes, and the past will never be the future. I say ask me no questions, I'll tell you no lies. I dream of riding into the sunset on my horse towards my house by a waterfall. I try to accept things as they come and let things go when the time is right without regrets. I hope I'll find a man that will stay with me until death do us part. I am a person who listens to what the wind whispers and believes dreams come true. I awake to a world I don't want. There is no transition for me. I am in heaven. I am in hell. |

Well, here's my first "I Am" poem as promised. It was written a few years ago. Since then, I've had fun doing others in the same form. I hope all of you have fun if you decide to take me up on the challenge, even if you do it in your own home, for no one else to see. Good luck.  I awake to a world I don't want.
