              The Auction

    it seems wrong
          the things so much
                  apart of him
      divided
            and
              changed
auctioned away
          much like his life
              to a thoughtless
                   unfeeling society.

Interesting little poem.   It made me think.

Nothing can deter a poet, for he is actuated by pure love. Who can predict his comings and goings? "Thoreau"

Yes I agree I have been to many a auction, and there is always a sad element to them, but on the other hand there sometimes are people there who appreciate the memories that have been created with the things left behind.
