Children are the future and what will the future be? If parents are abusers what will their children see? They grow up believing that pain is normal that fear is everyday life And pass it on to their children unless wrongs are made right. Until a caring soul reaches out and takes them by the hand and teaches them that someone cares and will help them take a stand. If you know the pain and fear and you have been through hell It's very hard to open up and share you feel there's no one to tell. So if my friends, you know a child who can't any future see, please take his hand and listen and a friend to them, always be. Don't ignore their pleading looks, or subtle hints of trouble Take a look and see what's there and help them, ON THE DOUBLE! God bless you all. :-) -debbie- |

Today on a bumper sticker I saw a saying, "It's easier to grow healthy children, then repair broken adults." Your poem reminded me of it. Thankyou for addresses something a lot of people place on the back burners..
