There are things in a forrest you will never see,
because,my friend...you're not like me.
You see things i don't see,were equally privledged,i'm sure,
but you've forgotten about your mother....nature.

In my walks through woods, with unknown, strange creatures i've been faced.
Experiences with which the average soul has not been graced.
I've seen a million mythical,secret,untold things,
I've walked through glades and faeryie rings.

So let me show you the world others don't notice,
things mother nature and legends have showed us.
The problem with you is you don't dream.
In your eyes stars don't gleam.
You must learn to unite your soul,
with the universe,to make it whole.

As when the sunlight sifts through the branches,
and speckles the ground with sunlit patches.
You can watch it bounce and reflect off spider webs and puddles,
the way it skims over the water and makes you image muddled.
Don't you notice these small,beautiful things??¿
Do you know the peacefulness it brings??¿

When you're in the dark forts of the woodland,
don't you notice the way trees stand??¿
Don't you notice the spring sky, blue and fresh??¿
and over it the way branches mesh??¿

Do you not see what comes from shadows,
when the sun peaks out over meadows??¿
If you sit beneath a tree to rest your weary eyes,
when you awake,do you see them fly off....the faeryie spies??¿
Have you memorized the sweet dulcet song of the thrash??¿
Do you see the unicorns spot you....and run off in a flash??¿

Let me tell you what i see when i walk the paths of nature's glory.
It's not what's on the surface that really makes the story.
If you brush away a few leaves underneath a pine,
a few dozing faeryies you're likely to find.
If you are one of the blessed race, they are few,
who share kinship with the Faye, these little ones may talk to you.
I've heard say that pixies are playful, silly, and dumb,
but those words only apply to some.
Most little folks are wise,
they know secrets of the forrest...you may be surprised.
They know the plants that poison, they know the plants that heal,
they know how to survive and find the next meal.

If you gaze into a pool of clear trickling sky,
that in some forgotten shadow lies,
You may find a water nymph,or a mermaid perhaps,
or by it's shores a pair of gypsies taking naps!!

In my world all things are possible, there are a million things to see,
becasue the true nature of nature is.....to be free.
So never hide your self, don't bury your dreams,
because you're never TOO old, that's just what it seems.
I don't beleive we should be asked to grow out of such tales,
that's one thing i'll ALWAYS fail =]
Some of us never grow up,some of us never should,
and some of us will continue enchanted walks through the wood.............

i LOVE IT!  This is the way I feel, too!  Never outgrow the magical things, even the small things in life are worth noticing.  They bring joy to an otherwise mundane existance!  Thanks for sharing this!

I love your poem, and I love nature, it reminded of yesterday when a Cardinal was playing with himself on the mirror of my vehicle, I could see it from inside the house and I was so intriged, it was beautiful to watch.   I am blessed to live amongst nature, lots of woods to enjoy, the only other place that would give me more joy would be the Ocean.
