Am I awake, or do I sleep A dream this must be Not Reality I smell your hair Taste your breath Feel you near me No, this cannot be Yet I let my self be claimed Sweet dreams of me and you Oh, how I hold onto this dream Longing for it to always be You and me, One forever Our Souls touch this night Though our bodies cannot Dreams of what could be Sun breaks in, my eye open A sigh escapes my lips Hands reaching out to thin air Then I smile and know This night our souls did touch Your dream and mine. May the light of day always shine during the darkest of nights. |
