Happiness, joy, Sunshine, Totally Free This soul was once me. Life swirls darkness forms Hope runs, Freedom Bound My past life Morns The Light pushed underground Darkness has found me My soul contorts and screams Heart retreating from the pain A new smile of forbidden glee Nights filled with darker dreams No more time to feel the shame Empty, cold, desolate Life’s new gift to my soul My new hand dealt by fate Why stop now I’m on a roll Darkness, bitterness, treachery This new soul has claimed me. May the light of day always shine during the darkest of nights. |

Hi all, Just letting you know, this poem was written a long time ago, during a very confusing time in my life, but things have been sorted out, and I'm a stronger person now. May the light of day always shine during the darkest of nights. |
