Yo, listen up, here's a story...  There's a friend I know, who was in distress Who still required a whole lot of care What he needed was warm n' loving caress And his dad ran off--to who knows where? He's not your typical dragonlike guy Mostly because he's hard as stone; How he can exist, only God knows why And he just hates being alone-- Literally a statue, only seven years old And everything seems a wonder untold And he'll squeeze you to death, to have and to hold... On living life, this guy is sold, He'll bear with it, be it hot or cold; He's still quite green, and easy to mold-- But I wouldn't want to change him now... His body is rocky yet warm and alive; It's still a wonder how he can survive! And get to know him, a truth will unfold: His body is stone but his heart's of gold. -Henry Dragon |
