Twas a dark, stormy night, When all that was wrong
Seemed only to be right, A life was lived long

The world was peaceful, War ceased to exist
Food was plentiful, And pain was forgotten

Then the doors where open, Shadows roamed free
Demons came out, To haunt you and me

Families were killed, Starvation was true
The dying race, Depended on you

Out came your sword, Your shield you held high
The stallion you rode, Chased demons all night

Now your praise is sung, All around town
The shadows you fought, Justice brought down.

MAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU,
MAY THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK
MAY THE SUN SHINE UPON YOUR FACE
THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS
AND, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN,
MAY GOD HOLD YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND

This is a really good poem. Who is the knight in shining armour riding the steed and bringing justice to pass? Must be quite some guy!! I love this poem!
