They thought they knew me.
And so they did, or did they?
Watching my face what did they see?
The rise and fall of another day
Brought more smiles, eyes twinkling
Laughter echoin through halls
No one knew what I was thinking
No one saw my tears fall
Hiding raw pain inside my heart
My soul racked with sobs
Fear tearing my world apart
Like angry men forming a mob
Could they deal with something ike this
No, not the world I knew
So I left them enjoying their bliss
Then out of nowhere came you.
Understanding I thought I saw in your face
You brushed my tears away
Warmth, loving, I was safe in your embrace
Then clouds darkened my sunny day
The words you spoke resembled lies
In broken pieces my heart lay
Despair consuming, I could only cry
But they never worried, nobody knew
I kept it inside, bidding my time
One person could save me, it had to be you
Bitter laughter echoed now, no one was that kind
I said my goodbyes, prepared myself
No reason to worry your sweet little head
It's time to finish my journey to hell
For tomorrow, my  love, I will be dead.

MAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU,
MAY THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK
MAY THE SUN SHINE UPON YOUR FACE
THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS
AND, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN,
MAY GOD HOLD YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND

Irish Blessing

TO THOSE WHO READ THIS:
No, I do not plan on committing suicide or do I have any contemplations towards that.  So, no need to worry, unmet friends.. I just tend to write on the depressing side of things.. *smiles*

This is terribly sad....glad you aren't planning on committing suicide! I'm sure someone will come along and understand you and love you again. Blue skies around the corner....

Love and hugs,
Lizzie

Again I find your words disturbing. You certainly make me 'feel'.

May your roof never fall in and those beneath it never fall out.
