Sand
between
my
fingers
Sifting
sand
taking
up
time
slowly
For
when
the
grains
slip
trough
I'm
gone
and
won't
be
back
again.

Definitely like the way you wrote this.  The sands of time - swiftly they sift through our fingers.

Thanks!  I decided to do something a little different today and I like the result.
