Too Forever To Be Me There's a passion to love, Too deep for mortal man to know Too undefined to be shown It means more than words can say Too deep down to run away Too crystal clear to be dark and gray There's no question in faith Forever forgiving and blind Forever true to this soul of mine Belief in something's what keeps us sane Forever hidden and constantly revealed Forever waiting, like a fruit to be peeled There's life beyond what you know To expand your horizons, teach yourself To stay out of fights, put your temper on the shelf Educate your brain, your heart, and your soul To be the person you want to be To let your entire self be free There's so much I could tell you Be yourself, don't be afraid to cry Be honest, and remind yourself never to lie Believe me, there's much left to learn Be compassionate, generous, and kind Be alive, it's so much more fun, you'll find There's life after emotions, Me is who I am Me is the one who follows the lamb Life without you has no meaning, but Me, all willing, will survive Me is the person I long to be inside Hope, Alicia A.
