I ask myself Why does it hurt so bad,
to lose something I never had?
To have these feelings with nothing to do,
But sit here and think of you.
I'm so confused, and I don't know why,
And just as I feared I begin to cry
A tear rolls down my face,
And I feel my heart begin to race.
I see your face in my tear.
So vivid, so real, I feel you near.
Avei I hear myself cry out...
There's something I want you to know about.
What is it I hear her say?
What do you want to tell me today?
I wanted to tell you I love you.
I just didn't know what to say, or do
Now Chico there's nothing To fear.
She says wiping away a tear...
But I start to cry all the more,
And I watch my tears hit the floor
And I know it doesn't matter,
as I see Avei's image begin to scatter
Wait!  I cry out, don't go!
I still have my love to show.
But before I've finished.
My life, my love, Avei has vanished
With my hands I cradle my head,
I try to lay back down on my bed
I have to hold in a sob
As my head begins to throb.
I try to go back to sleep.
But I can't so I just sit and weep.

Oh Chico how terribly sad.  With your words I can feel the brokenness of your heart.  I wish you well.

Chico...your words move me. What would they do to her?

May your roof never fall in and those beneath it never fall out.

Chico, You expressed yourself well in this poem, I could feel your pain. Take the risk and tell her how you feel, fear of rejection is a major stumbling block in many lives, most times we'd be happier removing the fear and concuring it.
