Hear Ye, Hear Ye, Men Of The Corner Pub

Hear ye, hear ye, men of The Corner Pub
time to nestle into your cozy seats now
these ladies will show how to tame a bear cub
my imagination is sparked wondering how.
tonight this will be their performed act
as they dance and entice you the audience
They're quite professional as a matter of fact
and you will see they lack very little confidence.

I expect the utmost in manners tonight men
we want this act to continue to please all
without turning into a wild, crazy lion's den
so if you hear an announcement heed the call.
Are you men all ready to jump start your week
Monday nights shall prove to be your highlight
I hope this entertainment is what you did seek.
Ladies Friday night the men will demo the kite.

The fee for tonight's show is to write a poem
describing what you saw and how it made you feel,
Do you guys have an imagination? Let's see it.

Mmmmmm
A rhyme is a possibility,
Describing all the things I see,
But how to write with enough decorum,
To make it printable on this forum?

May your roof never fall in and those beneath it never fall out.

I'm all settled down, in my chair in the pub.
The lights are dimming down, the show's gonna start.
The first girl appears and she's balancing a ball.
Quite clever enough, but she's seven feet tall.
I started to laugh then she came over here,
slapped me in the face and then dumped out my beer.

Needless to say, I was shocked and dismayed.
The reason I came, was not to get
laid out by a bully, who was seven feet tall.

The second girl out Then I never did see pose,
I was out in the washroom so I could
percieve what was wrong, with my bleeding nose.

Three scantily dressed gals then appeared on the stage
The music "The Stripper" it was being played.
I sat up in my seat then to get a good view.

The way they were wriggling was almost obscene,
but being broad minded, I waited to see
What they would take off, next, how little I knew,
Three guys in girls outfits, oh dear what a view.

My Dearest Lost Dreamer, Monday night was a bust.
As pub entertainment director you just simply must.
Go back to the drawing board and then redirect,
Your efforts at getting Radio City Music Hall Rockettes.

You're far too modest, far too kind
come on Cat, tell us of your find.

A seven foot bully? How can that be?
Three women who were but were not?
Your night was wild to say the least
but Jack, less than a bargain you got.
