The raven came and landed on my window sill
In the kitchen window late last night
He said he had a real good story to tell
about all the mystery in a raven's life.
The raven spoke with the voice of an ancient soul
You had to stop and ask yourself why
take a look at the world take a look at your self
If you could see the world through a raven's eyes.
The raven's shadow sihlouettes against the sky
The shifting sands have slowly pulled away
Looks like were going to get some rain soon
The raven's cry is never far away.
Soaring freely across the great blue sky
A little speck as the world goes by
A speck so small it hardly can be seen
Down below the grass don't look so green..

Definitely a new slant. I like it.
