Losing a friend. What could I have done to prevent this? Why do things go as they do? I don’t know why we must say goodbye, All I know is I will always love you. You were my friend...are my friend, In my heart that will always be. But your mom took the final decision, I wish I could know why she hates me. We gave each other so many hugs, I was there for you and you always gave my soul a lift. It is so sad to see us pulled apart in this way, Will we ever be able to cross this rift? Is there nothing I can do to make it all better? I feel so lost and alone. And though now you are unable to hear me, My heart just for you does moan. God brought us together, He gave us each a gift: A gift so precious, it makes gold looks cheap. Now we must go our separate ways to live, But you are still in my heart, so deep. For the last time I will hug you, A big bear hug like we used to. I hope you will always remember Me and the way I love you. |

Very moving. I just lost my best friend a couple of weeks ago. We are all here for such a short time. |

The memories will never die a friends love will always fly through the sunsets of every night in our dreams they touch us in flight. Worry not your precious heart love grasp piercing like a dart know yourself and know your friend nothing can take away till the very end. |

I loved your poem. I made me think about how important friendship really is. I lost a friend about a week ago because my mother didn't approve of us being friends, but hang in there, it will all work out for the best. Remember, God does everything for a reason. Luv, Comando |
