Regardless of what you think I do not want to argue with you anymore The very thought of it tires me Can't we just close that door? I promise to do my best To tell you how I really feel If you promise to listen to me Do we have a deal? All the screaming and shouting Does no one any good It is like you versus me Who is understood? There are no winners in this race Just an endless uphill battle A struggle for you and for me Will we fall from the saddle? I will give you my opinion If you tell me how you feel This is about you and me What will the truth reveal? That at times we disagree Do not see eye to eye One view for you another for me Can compromise be where the solution will lie? Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. Smith |

PDV...thanks and we are giving that a try. Isis...I know and I am trying to do all I can. Have to....means too much to let it slip away. wondrous....wow!!! twinsgd...thank you. The response to this post has amazed me. Wrote it for a special someone who also appreciates it. Perhaps I should have titled it "Compromise"? childomine...thank you.
