Many have airborne desires
To soar just like the birds,
In a Cessna single engine
Such exhillerating thoughts and words!

But before you act on your desires
Please look long before you leap,
May I help and give you some advice
While to fulfill your dreams, you seek?

First, look for a reputable air-service
For many may seem all right,
But upon closer scutiny
Are found to be "fly by night!"

And don't be swayed by sales gimmicks
Which looney ad-men have quick-hatched,
Like off'ing "A free parachute, with sign up,
And absolutely, no strings attached!"

And if you're yearning to learn quickly
I'll warn you to hold your horse,
For it's not a very good Ideee--
To enroll in what's called "a Crash Course!"

If you seek to be a High Flyer
Many risks you will see, will be found,
So wash down your thirst, while here in the PUB,
High Fly, among Friends, on the Ground!!!

This is humerous, but such true words.  One of my life's dreams has been to pilot a plane before I die.  Your message here is a good bit of advice to those who seek flight.

Thank you all for your kind words and reception to my internut advice.  But just let me say this:  If you keep sending up poem posts on this here friendly forum, others will reply and encourage, and you'll be earning "frequent flyer smiles!"
Thanks for sharing your smiles with me.  David
