My Angel

Her delicate hand
grasped mine tenderly;
And with a finger to her lips
she quieted the turmoil
that raged within.

She beckoned me;
Her hypnotic eyes,
shining with an ethereal glow,
and led me out of the shadows
of my loneliness.

I followed my beautiful,
golden tressed angel,
into a bright and shining world
of love, warmth, and boundless joy.

It was she, My Angel
with her feathery soft whispers
of encouragement and love,
who rescued me from my prison;
And from myself.
