Lily - white, floating
Random movements and adrift.
Alone in wet world.

I could see a lone lily floating on the water, being carried further and further away....

You've painted a very serene picture.  Beautifully tranquil.

Very delicate.  You grace the style and make it look easy.  I look forward to reading more from you.

I have a question, I don't really understand what a Haiku is. Do you think you can explain it to me. Is it hard to do? I remember it in school. But I don't think I ever tried to do it. Is it hard?

I did like what you wrote. I would like to learn how to do it.

Die In Vain,
I have recently become interested in haikus myself and have begun to learn the style to write them.  If you would like advice about them be sure to ask u_gene, Marge, or anyone else who has mastered this form of poetry.  I'm sure they would be glad to answer any questions.
