A beautiful year comes to an end Where day and night help to blend Four beautiful seasons of glee With fortunes for you and me Our time together,is limited it seems I often see your face in my dreams As moments linger day after day Wondering if "God" planned it that way! Although we are many miles apart You lay in a "Special" place in my Heart! True friendship,will never betray And the prescious memories never stray As another season peaks into view Hoping our "Special" friendship is true "God" protects my friend,this I know Here is believing,our friendship will grow! Brenda, This was absolutely beautiful!! I too have a special friend who lives far from me. I live in NC and she lives in IN...but I know we will always be the best of friends no matter what. I am glad that you have a special friend too. You are such a wonderful person, and so generous with your responses. I am glad we all are able to read each other's work and be friends in such a nice atmosphere as Passions! Great poem!! Thank you amy,for the kind words. It is always nice,to know someone appreciates the effort and time one put into a poem! It is a "passion" for me,and every thing that I put into my poems come directly from "God',and finds its' way through the 'essence' of my Heart and my Soul! I enjoy sharing my work with others, so that it may be a learning tool or a teaching tool,and may change someones' life,for the better1 Thanks again! Brenda W. |
