My only crime !!!

I know I'd die for you;
  if just given the chance.
just hoping that I might;
  catch the slightest little glance.
And in that last instant;
  before life and death.
That you would be there present,
  To hear my last breath.
And that on you lips;
  Would be my name.
As your tear drips;
  on my quivering frame.
That you would hold me tight;
  And ask me why.
And tell me It's not right;
  That I should die.
But in the wanning time;
  I would Smile and be tough.
Knowing that my only crime;
  Was not loving you enough...

god how this touched my heart! it made me cry....but it wasnt necessarily a bad cry. this was just simply beautiful...c'mon guys help me out with some words here...im all emotional! at any rate, wonderful poem!

I too cried. Good flow, beautifully written. Awesome in it's ability to stir the emotions.

I like that poem alot. Brought tears to my eyes, and made me think. My bf(ex) feels like that also. That he isn't loving me enough. I think that's what made tears come to my eyes. When you love someone, I believe you should show it the best you can. Sometimes saying I love you, it's not always enough.
I'll enjoy reading more of your work.

wow this was great it didnt make me cry but it brought tears to my eyes. i would have to say that Avei is a lucky person to have you

I just wanted to thank you all for responding to this, I was wanting to give this to Avei, (I think you know who this is) But I did not want to give her a "bum" poem so I wanted to see what you all thought about it, And Like I said, I really appreciate you taking the time and telling me what you think....
