fluttering
like hibiscus flowers

twisted like clothesline sheets
in spring winds
waving and stopping
air pregnant with storm's force

soon
silence

then

whoooosh

warm tropical winds blow
and clean the heavy winter air
leaving it scrubbed clean
squeaky
minty
fresh

renewed
as spring's fingers slowly clutch the earth
in gentle grasp
as winter
crawls away to hide
in a dark dank hole
til fall tires again next year
and winter wins a place
for awhile

"twisted like clothesline sheets"  Such unique descriptions.  Made this very enjoyable to read.

A cliched reply, I know, but WOW!!!!

I love springtime too. A time of rebirth, a time of happiness rediscovered, a time of peace amid all the frantic activity.
