For My Love.... Testament For years I searched never really believing in what I hoped to find. A kindred spirit. Someone to love and cherish; one who could fill the void inside me. They came and went with momentary excitement and hollow laughter. Yet through it all, the shadow of loneliness was my only companion; The one constant in life. And then you appeared; seemingly from nowhere with beautiful poetry and words of encouragement. You're presence becoming a soothing caress to my soul. Healing my hidden wounds and tearing down the walls which I thought necessary for emotional survival. How does one describe the wonderful difference between night and day? You're love for me is something I've never known. Illuminating my universe and banishing the darkness that trapped me for so long; Giving me life with meaning instead of merely existing. These simple words I write cannot convey what I feel; The happiness, nor the depth. God! The unbelievable passion that consumes me! This is my testament to us, and my simple letter of love to you who completes me and turns my every moment into a precious memory. Loving you is my passion You are my rock, my anchor and my safe harbor; My haven from the storms that batter our existence. And as we explore our new life You will find me be by your side. watching; protecting; and sheltering.
