I remember the first day I saw you- chubby angelic face with pizza smudges white blond hair- tangled, out of place you crawled up to me and took my heart in your hand not blood of my bood- yet mine someday you'll understand seventeen suddenly turned "mommy" I was scared to say the least what if I did something wrong? but your smile conquered fear's beast I've watched you with happy sadness my little princess is growing up time passes so fast it's hard to believe pretty soon you'll think boys and make-up how do you explain all this to a child just today turning eight? you say happy birthday with tears in your eyes and wait someday I'll tell you the story of how you took my heart in your hand not blood of my blood- yet mine hopefully then, you'll understand 12 March 2000 for my lil princess ~*Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a tear*~ |

Thanks you guyz this was written after her yearly phone call from her biological mother who seems to remember she had a kid all of a sudden and it stirs up doubts and questions that my daughter is too young to fully understand right now I appreciate your replys ~*Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a tear*~ |
