Knights I do call upon thee all !
Ride, ride before the evening falls
We’ll battle for our ladies sweet
Heavily armed onto our teeth

Ride, ride before the evening falls
We must try and save our Cornwall
From all the foul wolves in disguise
We will bend this wrong into right

We’ll battle for our ladies sweet
King, no better reason we need
For us to keep our homestead save
We shall have them dig their own grave

Heavily armed onto our teeth
We will combat them to defeat
For their defeat they must avow
Conquer the enemy  I vow

Munda - I'm home.

Munda,  Great poem. I heard your call.

This knight in shining armor is here for you to meet
A little tarnished, maybe,
But that's from battling for my ladies sweet.

Munda...I love your poem.  I'll keep you company on your wait for that perfect knight...I seem to need one, too.  Thanks for the stool too (your response from my last poem), thanks for remembering me.

Oh dear, what have I done with my "Battle Cry" ! I've turned the Pub up side down, been made "leader of a wild bunch of Knights" and even saw Dragons return. Don't ya love it the  good old days ?

twinsgd - Please do keep your head ! We need it for your wonderful poetry ! Thanks for your reply. It's always a great honour to inspire another poet to a rhyme.

Jamie - You're always welcome to wait here for your perfect Knight (have a drink in the meantime   ), but I have to go out for a while. It seems I have battle to do !

~ Lancelot ~

Sir Lancelot what a great honour
to find you in our humble manor
I see you are all ready to go
to defend the ladies grace and woe
May I ask you, since you now are here
If you would like to meet a Guinevere ?
I know of a place where ladies need
A galant Knight such as thee indeed
Where Passions rise high like burning flame
Playing with words the fun of the game
May I ask for you to follow me
I will introduce them all to thee

Munda,

A damsel,  I am safe
for the Knights ride to save us fair.
This Lady curtsies in gratitude
for your noble deed and dare.

Great piece of work.

My dear Guinevere, so sincere,
Have you forgot?
Your Lancelot
Is always near.
Just beckon me and I will come
On horseback, dragon or even run.

Munda, Great poem.

Since we're in the Pub...

Fill my stein with mead.
A toast to all the men on they're steeds,
who make it they're chivalrous deed
to protect all the damsels in need.
