Vortex

Below the ancient cliffs
which rise above
the coarse gray sand

Beyond the black rocks
worn by unknown millennia
of cold, crashing waves

The spinning vortex
screams as it swallows
the ocean that gives it life

Wow, you've packed so much imagery into only nine lines! I only wish I could do something like that...this is a great piece of work, Gary! Hope to see more!
