The web of deceit that you have woven
has begun steadily to unravel
during the aftermath of seperation.
How could you possibly think to gain,
when you dealt out a house of cards,
based on a foundation that leaks
from the many holes of falseness?
Did you perceive me of idle mind?
Unwilling or unable to view
your words and deeds with clarity?
Oh little player, you didn't realize
that lies become entangled, one into another
until they burst forth, overflowing;
spilling onto the ground at my feet.
Yoiu depended on your lies to win.
Now you sit alone, trying to warm yourself
in the sunless shadow of
your mountain of deceit.
I pity you, hungry little wolf.
Is this the prize you sought??

Great display of emotion...almost makes me feel the same way about whoever this was. You put a lot into your poetry, child! This poem's great, like all your others!

Child -

Sounds like you've been through the mill.  I understand the feeling in this so very well.  Well written, as always.
