-This poem I wrote not to long ago. I think it was in January some time. I was having trouble in my relationship with my bf (boyfriend), he was having alot of doubts. When we first got together it was because of him. I wasn't interested in him at all at first, but then he showed how much he cares. I believe I am the only one who has seen his true side. Sence we started going out (it's been about a yr now), even his friends have seen a change for the better in him. So when he started having doubts after him trying so hard to show me he cares, then I had to write this poem for him....- -Desire- Tonight I now know the tears will never stop. Every day and every night Every sweet memory I will hold tight There won't be an hour without a memory of you or an hour without a smile pulling through My star will shine far in the distance The colour a pale blue Sending out silent cries in the night to you You will never hear the cries Nor see before your eyes the painful wounds beyond my disguise I have felt the pain of heartahe and sorrow And had all emotions running wild I'm unhappy for giving up a losing battle for which I tried so hard for Angry and hurt that you gave up on your hearts desire for which you also tried so hard for But mostly I'm just puzzled to why it is that you gave it up once you had it I don't have to try and figure out what just happened All I have to know is my heart is yours forever I will cry when I think of you and will smile for you And I promise you I will never forget you Because now, you are my hearts desire! ~Alana Rain Turcotte~ |
