Thanks so much to you, child, for that poem--
I'm just trying to make this place home;
Like a place to come to when feeling down
(And, on the side, make this place renown!)

Well, hey you're not so bad yourself--
You're one of those poets from way top shelf!

You do things with words that're hard to explain;
But you're a great poet, it's almost your name!

You make some phrases seem so vivid,
With visions so clear, emotions so livid--
Old English, middle, a dialect, pure;
You're good at writing, that's for sure!

I hope you stay at the Pub for a while,
Because you make more than one dragon smile!

You honor me with words so sweet
I'm glad we had the chance to meet.
I've settled in the pub me tinks

to soak up words in place of drinks.

I'm not too good with this off the cuff stuff!!
