-If Tomorrow Never Comes-
By: Amy M. Kennedy

If tomorrow never comes, and from this earth I shall have to go
I want all of family and friends to understand, I need them all to know
If tomorrow never comes, I shall not be sad or cry, no I will still have my smile
For at least here I was able to stay with all of you, for at least a little while
If tomorrow never comes, and this shall be my last day
I am glad I spent it with all of you, glad I spent it this way
If tomorrow never comes, please do not misunderstand
For that's fate and destiny, a touch of God's hand
If tomorrow never comes, I want you all to know I love you all so very much
Thank you for taking the time to show me unconditional love, your lives mine has touched
If tomorrow never comes, I am glad I cherished the here and now
For we don't know what God has in store for us, or what he will allow
If tomorrow never comes, I feel I lived a life that was honest and true
In the kingdom of heaven, I will be reunited with all of you
If tomorrow never comes, I am so glad I got the chance to say
I love all of you, today and everyday!

~Live today as though it were your last but prepare for tomorrow as though it were here~

Very beautifully expressed, but I hope you have many more tomorrows. Hope to see many more of your poems.

This is absolutely beautiful Amy!!!  Great message about enjoying where you've been, where you at (and with whom   ) and without regrets.

Like child and Septsong said, this is beautiful, Amy!   But I hope you don't intend on leaving us just yet...you've got so much to give!   I like the stuff you post here, it always just seems to fit.

a beautiful poem of contentment amy-girl..made me smile...like you always do
very sweetly expressed jm

Now for me some words come easy
But I know that they don't mean that much
Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch
You never knew what I loved in you
I don't know what you loved in me
Maybe the picture of somebody you were hoping I might be...
Jackson Browne
*I miss you baby...
I love you...always.

Brought me tears, Amy.  This was really beautiful.  Truly.  And so sad.
