THE BUSH On the road I call, my path south, I spied a bush, it brought moisture to my mouth. As I dwelled on the thought of that succulent prize, I noticed it was chestnut brown, and rather small in size. I gazed upon it awhile, then slowly I did approach, At times like this no one needs a coach. My thoughts were raceing, my face grew flush, At the thought of the fruit from this bush so plush. Now all your thoughts I know have been low, So now I guess I had better let you know. That this bush has traveled across a great sea, Just so we could enjoy a fruit called kiwi. bill bussey 93 |
