I wrote this the day after my grandma died, for the minister to read at her funeral service.  I miss her terribly.

You gave your love so freely,
throughout each passing day.
You touched the hearts of all
who were blessed to come your way.

Your thoughts were always focused
on the people who you loved.
You brightened others' lives
with the loving thoughts you spoke of.

Just being in your presence
was enough to make things bright.
For, your precious, loving ways
could turn darkness into light.

You'll never be forgotten,
our memories are etched upon our hearts.
We may not be together,
but, we'll never be apart.

To you, my darling Mama,
my love, I'll always give.
I'll always be your "Doll Baby"
and in my heart you'll always live.

Sasikat, a sweet, sentimental poem.  A fitting tribute to someone who obviously meant the world to you.  God bless.

~Sasikat...

This was lovely! I can relate to the pain that you are feeling. My mom passed away five years ago, and to this day I still miss her greatly! This was a touching display of affection and really pulled at my heartstrings. Nicely done.

 She says baby,
It's 3am I must be lonely,
When she says baby,
Well I can't help but be scared of it all sometimes,
Says the rains gonna wash away I believe it.
