I was so happy that night we watched the lightning while we sat on his front lawn. He said that he was glad I came, but soon he went away. Just last August he had that party, we came to say goodbye. He said that he was so happy we came, before he went away. I remember watching you on that stage; I knew what you were thinking. You said it meant so much I came, and then I ran away. I know exactly What I`m doing, I don`t like it one bit. I`m getting ready not to care, incase you go away. I wish I could just fall for you, just listen to my heart. The pain of loss- it can stay with us so long & do so much damage. If we fear love so much that we never touch it, how will we ever know any happiness?? I like the way you expressed the conflict. |

heather, this is SO well expressed...I relate to its emotions...it reminds me of so many sad love songs thru the years... very nice work, take care janet marie ...there are places inside all our souls... that have never been touched... there are places inside our hearts... that need to be loved this much...
