Fragile souls like crystal snowflakes
Desirous for some one to dare
Forgiveness to give for mistakes
Reaching out for the solitaire

Desirous for some one to dare
Breaking down these solid brick walls
Reaching out for the solitaire
One who isn’t afraid to fall

Breaking down these solid brick walls
Kindred spirit in honesty
One who isn’t afraid to fall
Playing  my true life’s symphony

Kindred spirit in honesty
Release from an inner darnkness
Playing my true life’s symphony
Pure melody of sweet caress

Release from an inner darkness
Shards of my shattered long lost dreams
Pure melody of sweet caress
Silences from within the screams

Shards of my shattered long lost dreams
Forgiveness given for mistakes
Silences from within the screams
Fragile souls like crystal snowflakes

Beautiful, Munda!

I like how you arranged it, with one line from the previous stanza becoming the first line in the next...wish I had thought of that!

Good work!

Well thank you Sam.   Why don't you visit the Poetry Workshop some day. That's where I learned how to write a pantoum and there's lots and lots more out there.

You see your little dancing smilie guy--can you hear what he's saying? This, "Woohoo!

Very nice. I really think it's a good literary device, to end with the way it started. I like it a lot.

Heavy!  Wow!  Reading this pantoum makes me want to step back and think about how much I take my life for granted.  Inspiring!  Bravo!  --Jamie

Munda
this poem is AMAZING...I love it..and these kind of poems are hard to write and require a lot of thought...but you made it look SO easy...you should be extra proud of this one... thanks for mentioning the poetry workshop, I'll have to check it out...there is so much to see and do here...I'm still finding my way around all the forums.
Take care, Janet Marie

Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme,
They are not measured by the commitment of time.
Some emotions run too deep to be described by words,
Forgiveness and understanding-
remain the most beautiful words ever heard.

Gene - Woohoo to you too   I just read a multiple poem from you in open ! Amazing

Wikket - Thank you

Janet Marie - Thank you   And you know what ? This isn't too difficult to write. Once you know the first four lines, it almost writes itself. Please do join us in the Workshop

Beautifully written and arranged.  This style is very effective and what a lovely way to describe the fragile soul.

Munda,
This is so beautiful and melodic, it sings a sad/sweet song of a tender soul reaching out for acceptance with a foreknowledge of bitter rejection. This soul reaches still, with hope. What a touching , honest expression of raw emotions, the need to connect, despite the risk.
This is so well written, MUNDA, YOU RULE!!!
