She sat
Perched on Maslow’s
Barstool and looked
Down at the barbed wire rungs
Musing hands sliced
And cleavage spent

He saw her from
Atop a red nail
Saw his own reflection
wanted
A drink
From the tallest shotglass
And sipped it

Slowly

And when he saw her
Looking down
At barbed wire
He said

Shutup and Kiss Me

A man of few words, I see, who appreciates the finer points of courtship! hehehehehe
Thanks for sharing it here, LR!

And slight is the sting of his trouble
Whose winnings are less than his worth;
For he who is honest is noble,
Whatever his fortunes or birth.~~~Alice Cary, ~Nobility~

Ok...so what if she was telling him the secrets of the world..or like how to cure cancer..or what to do with all those spare socks the dryer collects..or how to cook a pot roast..or which dry cleaner is the best..or why Ty Cobb was the greatest baseball player ever..or ... oh! Ok..I'll shut up!

  This is great!

MAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU,
MAY THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK
MAY THE SUN SHINE UPON YOUR FACE
THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS
AND, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN,
MAY GOD HOLD YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND
