The last poem I write
Before falls the night
I want to remember in my dreams
Sunshine
That falls on my shoulders
And warms the summer loon's back
Running through fields barefoot and carefree
Let the rain of tranquility pour down on my face
And sprinkle my cheeks!
Oh, let my last poem be lasting
Into the cold winter darkness
Awaiting summer's splendors
I'll impatiently sit
Writing fridgedly in the wrath of the season
Let this be the last poem I write
Before falls the calling night!

Joy~I hope it's not the last poem you EVER write! Beautiful work here. Glad I'm not alone in the pub here.

I am with Elizabeth. . . don't let this be the last one. . .

This poem is simply wonderful. . . I love the words and the imagery that you show. . . I can almost feel the warmth and the sprinkles. . .

Wonderful. . .

Don't worry!  This will NOT be the last poem I write.  I was saying it would be the last poem I write before the day ends!
Thank you all for your compliments to my poem!

I enjoy most poems, but especially like ones about sunshine...

I'm glad this wasn't the last one you wrote.. Very well done..

Hi!  Wow!  I've been wandering in and out of the Pub, busy with school.  And I came lately to see a whole bunch of my poems in the last day pages.  Wrote these it seems to be so long ago.  It's nice to see them all again, like old friends.  A lot of Little Spyro's are here too.  When is that little dragon commin' back? I miss him!

Thanks Broken Winged Angel.  You're the one replying to 'em all. And being too too kind!
Bye.

Jack~you could say that.  I'm from Wisconsin.  Where you can experience 4 seasons in on month, like now.  70 degrees on Friday, today a forcast of snow.

Lizzie~Thanks.  I always appreciate compliments for fresh or burried poems!

Pepper~Thanks to you too.  Imagery was what I was going for in this one.  Glad you enjoyed!

thanks, thanks, thanks
