I Think I loved Her
but I don't know what to do
I think I've lost her
I think it's true
I think too much
I'm blue....blue like a midnight creek
but I think I loved her
I didn't love her
I thought I loved her
Love her, loved her, loved, love, her...
I'm confused!

Sometimes life...and love are very confusing! You have expressed that with this piece very well, Brandon.

I can feel the confusion within this poem.....it hurts when you can't figure out what your heart is telling you about Love......especially when your mind isn't being so clear either.
Very nice piece....thanks for sharing

Love is perplexing, but it will clarify itself one way or the other
Good poem

Yeah, you bet love is confusing...so were some of my girlfriends lol

Good poem! I think it answers that ancient question: What is love?

Answer: Confusing!

Great poem!

"What's it like to fall in love? Well...say the object of your affection walks by...
First, your heart falls into your stomach and splashes your innards. All the moisture makes you sweat profusely. This condensation shorts the circuits to your brain, an you get all woozy. When your brain burns out altogether, your mouth disengages and you babble like a cretin until she leaves. That's love, medically speaking."

--Hobbes
excerpt from
"The Essential Calvin and Hobbes"
p. 57

"Weird?! No, 'weird' is when you apply your human rules to where they shouldn't be applied. That's why it seems strange to you." --Ttark

If you ever find the answer to this question, you could make millions writing a book about it!

Love is the heart screamin' at us.

The heart is actually incomplete
Unless it has another
To join it's beat...

After all..God made man and woman...For each is incomplete without the other!

Love is the heartfelt desire of having someone else love us.

As you can see Brandon...you poem really made me think....

Nough said..hehe..

Did you ever find out if you loved her or not?  Very well expressed..

MAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU,
MAY THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK
MAY THE SUN SHINE UPON YOUR FACE
THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS
AND, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN,
MAY GOD HOLD YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND

Well, Brandon, love is perplexing, people view love differently, and different girls need different kind of love. So, it's good to get to know the one you love first and then love will not be confusing anymore.

You don't sound confused to me.  Sounds like you love her!
