As Christmas draws near,
I reflect on past years,
The holidays I spent,
Some with many tears.
Although they weren't perfect,
With all fancy gifts,
They've something in commen,
Which gives me a lift.
I spent all surrunded,
By my huge family,
And I think how lucky I've been,
Although it's forgotten so easily.
(doesnt rhyme, oh well)
I'd rather spend Christmas in company,
Then being lonley with fancy toys,
For what good is a toy on Christmas morning,
Without being distracted by background noise.
Thankyou for taking the time to read my poem! I'm still Improving!
