Freedom is a goose’s golden wing
Spreading from here to eternity and back
With peace love and happiness---

(RIP! Another notebook page rotting in the trash)

try again:

freedom is
rainbow medley children
giggling with sparklers
trailing pink and spattered
explosions
thru the twilight air.
and they reluctantly sit
when the neighborhood showman
lines up his arsenal
of bottle rockets/ roman candles,
little fire fountains and cardboard tanks
that never roll according to design.

innocent eyes expand
as virgin mouths make o’s of pleasure.

liberation is the belief
however untrue
in the glorious ramparts and brave red rocket glares
the romanticized glory
of independence
and the right to get drunk celebrating.

better.

everything's fine.

I enjoyed it....especialy the ending. very nicely written. haha.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily
