"Butterfly"

Dance with the wind
The signal the leaves
Send...they say
Butterflies are coming
Soon...A happy time for
Me and you

The flowers are all in
Bloom...and soon...
The butterflies
Will break loose from
Their cacoons

Making their own steps
On life, and prints on
The Earth
They are gentle caring
Creatures, not ones that
Are of hurt

So much you can learn
From a butterfly
You can find the magic
Hidden inside you and I

All you have to do is fly
Fly high in the dewey grass
And morning sky

A butterfly is like you and I
Butterflies always try to make
Life peaceful and calm
Singing a sweet, sweet song

Oh I love to see them
In flight in the pale summer
Evening sky
They remind me of you and I
Oh butterflies

Water, Earth, and Sky
Are a part of you and I

Everyday we live and breathe
The cool clean air
Running through open grassy
Feilds...towards the amazing
Creatures in sight...
The butterflies

I enjoyed this poem a great deal. I just love butterflies too!
Good job!
