(anyone recognize this one?)

At Christmas time in Bethlehem
So many years ago
God sent a light to shine day and night
And guide us, this we know.
Every year at this special time
In a winter deep and cold
We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ
And His story is told.
This light will help us all our days
In good times and in bad
From the day we are born till the day we die
Through all the troubles we've had.
Light, love, and life, a beacon
Of hope to pull us through
We need someone to guide us
In everything we do.
At Christmas time in Bethlehem
Nearly two thousand years today
God gave us a baby boy named Jesus
To guide us on our way.

I have it, right on the tip of my tongue. Too bad I can cut it off and look at it to see what it is. Tis beautiful though! ]

Thanks for the link...and the great poem! As either a rose bud or rose thorn, you're still a good poet!

R&T,

I'm not sure how I knew, but I just did.  I remember seeing that poem under Rosebud...  oh, umm... and can you guess who I am?

I looked at the stars gleaming like the waters,
and on the ground I laid,
looking upwards at the stellar skies--
black as darkness in the forest,
clear as water, aching as memories!
