My homeland is not of the world

I could use any comments you have, good or bad.  I need to rewrite this, but I'm interested in hearing what parts you all think needs to be changed. anyhow, here it is...

What If
by, Matt

As I walk on clouds today
I find myself wondering
What if I could have more time
What changes could I bring

How bad is the world today
Many still pray and sing
So what could I change
Before the return of the king

And when Jesus comes back agian
To lead his children away
Will he spend some extra time
To convince others of his way

Or will they be too sinful
To see him as he walks by
With his children by his side
And tears in his eyes

If we had the chance to save them
Shouldn't we have tried
To tell them of Jesus
And the reason that he died

So whenever you have the chance
To save another's soul
Don't turn your back
Make it your goal

Or you'll end up like me
At the edge of this cliff
Haunted by a single thing
The question, "what if"

"They do not love that do not show their love.”-Shakespeare

does not love transcend even the boundaries that religion creates?  what is love except the perfect communion between spirits? and how rare is that? how much do i crave even the slightest brush with the soul of another? tell me why jesus gives you what he does not seem willing to give me?

(sigh) Yes, let's always reach out to help one another as He loves us all and we are all brothers and sisters of Him who are all born to rise! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is refreshing, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet James, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

thank you both for your replies...Amaranthine, I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but I can assure you, God, and Jesus, loves all of us as family. We are all God's children, and Jesus's brothers and sisters.  Because of this, we are all brothers and sisters.   He gives us all everthing we need.  His grace is so overwhelming, his blessings are numerous.

I like it. I have the same question to myself too...the different is...I dont' think I can change...it is too difficult to change myself...I'm hopeless...

no one's hopeless with the power of the Lord by your side.  Change can always come, though it often may be difficult.
