Fathom the Silence

allowing silence to
enter prayer
a bit of ‘morning watch’
to hatch the blessings
and the love
to fill
the heart of the plea
and the sea
of praise we raise
in both silence
and voice

In Beauty’s Peace

he sat beneath
the yew
and drew
upon the promise of You
in the view
and the true
word that’s been given
for the livin’
at hand
in the land
of milk and honey
and it’s funny
in an odd sort of way
how setting oneself aside
apart from the Pride
brings a lion’s share of knowledge
and peace
from heaven’s Guide

(smiles) And I have never thought of a particular part of Pride being a sin, the pride in believing in love for Him and for our fellow loved ones which is truly the milk and honey of life! (big hugggsssss) These both are beautiful, sweet friend, it is amazing how we can be inspired from oral interpretation too, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Virginia, thank you for sharing!
