The Wonders of THE Mind

to be
sensitive
and obedient to the Spirit
thus more able to understand
the mind of Christ
is an awesome hope

for
when the wind of reality
freezes me in fear,
when the angst
of what might be
or the pain of what is,
paralyzes me
as stone,

then
perhaps I
might be more able
to seek
and find
the beauty blooming
out of the granules
that disaster has wrought
or winter has brought

and within my focus
find strengthened faith,
unleaded steps,
and joy in the receipt
of His awesome guidance
for me

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

I am sure we would all be prostrate before that awesome Mind, but we can try to understand His kindness.  Joyce
