Our Example

The Lord was peaceful, gentle, kind.
Contention did not seek.
He had a righteous Godly mind
He was peaceful, he was meek.

He did not wrathfully proceed
To strike at sinful others
When they attacked and--caused to bleed
and round him as wolves gathered.

He prayed instead for their well-being
For his Father to forgive.
So they might also worship him
So they might also live.

He did not call to heaven's gate
for lightning to strike swift.
He did not wish them accursed states
But only God's free gift.

His followers must walk his way
Reflect his personality.
Stride in his footsteps every day
For eternal life to see!

(smiles) Oh my gosh, this brought a tear to my eye reading this because I am touched and moved deeply by how wonderful He is and while so many did defy Him how so many believed in Him and followed in His footstepsas we still do! (sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Radrook, thank you for sharing!
